Does the treatment hurt?

Topical anaesthetics are applied to the skin before and during the procedure to ensure you have the most comfortable experience possible. Many clients describe the feeling as a buzzing feeling. On a scale of 1-10 most people would rate it between 0-3.

How will it look immediately after the treatment?

Some people will experience a little redness or swelling straight after the treatment, this will subside within 24 hours. The pigment may also look darker than you expected,  after 3-5 days the surface colour will naturally exfoliate to leave a softer lighter colour. After 5 days the colour may be lighter than you want it, you then come back 4 weeks later and I can make the pigment darker.

How long will it last for?

As your skin rejuvenates, the pigments will gradually fade over a period of up to 2 years. Most people will have a colour boost every 12-18 months.

What is permanent make-up?

Permanent make-up is also known as micropigmentation or semi permanent make-up. It is a completely safe form of cosmetic tattooing in which pharmaceutical grade pigments are implanted into the dermal layers of the skin.

Will it look natural?

Yes, the healed result will look very natural. The permanent make-up will look more intense for the first 3-5 days. You may choose to take some days off work although most clients return to their normal routine immediately after the procedure.

How long does the procedure take?

An initial 30 minute consultation will take place, during this time we will discuss the desired outcome you would like to achieve. Then we will discuss shapes and assess you skin tone to determine the best and most natural colour for you. For the actual procedure it will take somewhere between 90 and 120 minutes. You then need to return 4 weeks later for your retouch.
